Kirsti’s Background

I am a retired primary care physician, physician executive, and teacher. For more than 30 years, I supported individuals through personal and professional transitions. After decades of caring for patients and leading within medical environments, I now focus on coaching physician leaders and physicians in training as they navigate the complexities of life and work.

I am a listener. 

Through my training as a coach and physician I have spent my professional life listening. As a parent of nine children, I have spent my home life listening. Through listening and reflecting we affect one another, and insight occurs  when the speaker sees themselves through fresh, open eyes. Let’s open your thoughts.

I am a connector.

A leader must build connections. A leader will inspire those who will follow them by building a connection. A leader will build a path to success for themselves and their followers through their connections. Good connections grow stronger through words, facial expression, body language and  time. Let’s grow your connections.. 

I am resilient.

I was the Chief Medical Officer of a community clinic and was a physician and physician-in-training at large public hospitals. I am a mother of 9 children. I have lived through the deaths of parents, siblings, children, patients, colleagues and friends. Life is unpredictable, full of joy and sorrow. Let’s fortify your strength.

I am an innovator. 

I was the section chief of primary care at Stanford University and built programs and services. Finding the right niche for each person in my section of 60 physicians, to elevate their skills and let them shine was my job. Let’s unleash your creative mind.

Beyond Medicine

Through adoption and birthing, I love 9 children whom I can call mine.  I enjoy biking, cooking, music, exploring the world, and time outdoors. These experiences shape my compassionate and holistic view of personal development.
